Originally from Thousand Oaks California, Eddie Huchingson entered the building trades as a Union Carpenter in Ventura 1986.

At the age of 23 he became a Journeyman Carpenter and at 24 he took his passion for building one step further by obtaining his General Contractors License.

At age 25 he took his skills to Breckenridge Colorado obtaining his Colorado General Contracting License and spending the next 21 years as the owner of an award winning design and build team.

It is there that he learned about the dangers of Radon.

Virtually the whole state of Colorado is a Radon Zone 1. (The EPA rates Radon as zones 1, 2 and 3 with zone 1 being the highest risk.) In Colorado Radon systems in new construction as well as existing buildings are common place.

In 2012 Eddie left the snow and relocated his family back to Thousand Oaks where his children could be close to cousins, grandparents great schools and warm weather.

Eddie also brought his unique training and expertise in Radon Mitigation to Southern California.

The one thing he noticed is that California has fallen behind in making the general public aware of the dangers of Radon.

Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties are a zone 1 and all of Los Angeles is a zone 2, there is no doubt this puts millions of lives at unnecessary risk.
