National health experts recommend testing your home for radon: U.S. Surgeon General, American Lung Association, American Medical Association, American Cancer Society, American Public Health Association and others. 2003 EPA assessment states that 21000 deaths are caused each year. That is more than drunk driving, house fires and drownings combined per year.
